1. Will
The Living GospelCD-ROM run on a DVD player?
It will run on a computer's
DVD drive (just like any other CD-ROM will), but
it will not run on a television's DVD player without
a computer running the Windows© operating system.
2.
When I insert The Living Gospel CD-ROM into
my computer's CD-ROM drive to install it, nothing
happens. Isn't the program supposed to install itself?
Yes, but your computer's "AutoRun" feature
is probably disabled. Please follow the Manual Installation
Method described on your CD's instruction manual.
3. I installed
the program and I am able to run it, but when the animated
portion begins, I can't hear the characters' voices
(even though I do hear the narrator's voice). What's
wrong?
Playing The Living Gospel requires
QuickTime 5 (or higher) Player software. Your computer
probably has an older pre-installed version of the
QuickTime Player. To fix the problem, uninstall
the old QuickTime Player software from your hard
drive, as well as The Living Gospel program.
(Use your Windows Uninstaller:
On the Windows START button, go to SETTING > CONTROL
PANEL and double-click on the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
icon. Select the old QuickTime Player program,
named QuickTime, and click on the "change/remove" button).
Repeat this procedure to remove The Living Gospel
1.0 program.)
After both programs have
been completely uninstalled, re-install the Living
Gospel by following the instructions that came with
your CD-ROM. Once The Living Gospel has been
re-installed, the auto-install program should prompt
you about installing QuickTime. Click the "yes" button.
This will activate the QuickTime Basic Installer,
which will guide you through the installation process.
Once the QuickTime installation is complete, close
all QuickTime-related windows. Now that you have
the correct version of the QuickTime player, you
should be able to run The Living Gospel without
problems.
